Derion and Taylor - Texas Avenue Proposal

Derion messaged me one week before he had the date set in his mind that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Taylor. Derion said in his exact words to me “I chose next Friday because it was a sign from God”. Derion chose that following Friday because it would be 22 years ago his grandmother passed away so he felt like the date was just.. right.

We decided on the location on Texas Avenue in Baytown.  We would walk around the block and we would end our surprise at the water fountain.

When we arrived back at the fountain in the town square all of their family and he got down on his knee and nervously popped the question…of course she said “YES!”
